Waste management, also known as waste disposal, refers to all of the activities and actions necessary to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes, among other things, waste collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal, as well as monitoring and regulation. It also includes the legal and regulatory framework for waste management, including recycling guidelines, among other things.
