Conservation Ecology

Conservation ecology is a subfield of ecology and evolutionary biology concerned with the conservation and management of biodiversity and natural resources. It is a rapidly emerging discipline as a result of the accelerating deterioration of natural systems and the global epidemic of species extinctions. Its mission is to find ways to conserve species, habitats, landscapes, and ecosystems as quickly, efficiently, and affordably as possible.
